Students are the focus of our mission at Hudson Valley Community College and student leaders like Lukas Donaghue have been an integral part of our self study as well.
Lukas joined the Working Group for Standard Seven — Governance, Leadership, and Administration — last semester and met with Middle States Team Leader Dr. Mike McDonough. Lukas is vice president of the Personal Finance and Investment Club, one of the re-founders of the Entrepreneurship Club, a founding member of the Garden and Horticulture Club, and a Student Senator. Lukas has lived on three continents, speaks and writes in several languages, and holds himself and others to high standards of integrity and competence. His reputation for precise analytical thinking is well-deserved, but surpassed by his affability: People like him.
